LEAD Leadership Education and Development

Three or four week program that introduces minority high
school juniors to careers in business. Participation is
selective. Students attend programs outside of Arizona
including, Cornell, Duke, Standford, Darmouth College, and
University of Illinois.

June 7–July 11

Med-Start Summer Program

Five week academic summer program for low income,
minority and first generation college-bound students
interested in health careers. Participants prepare for college
through classes and explore career opportunities. Only 40 -
60 students accepted per year. Apply on-line.

New Start Summer Program

Six-week academic summer program designed to orient
students to campus in hope of a successful transition from
high school to university life. Participants take UA courses
and register for Fall classes.

Non-Tucson Residents: $225

Summer Programs

Offers students the opportunity to participate in a two week
summer experience filled with team leadership activities,
campus visits and academic strategies. Students with
learning and attention challenges are strongly encouraged to apply.
