Name of Activity: College Fair
Description: This fair is geared to high school students and parents. Representatives from over thirty-five Christian post-secondary institutions attend to inform participants about their schools. Financial Aid seminar is given twice during the evening. Attendance has been around 300. Open to the public.

Name of Activity: Application Saturdays
Description: Our librarian opens the library for seniors to come and complete college applications on two Saturdays in the fall. Counselor provides students' files; librarian has access to unofficial transcripts and has students bring resumes, college essays, and credit card info. Librarian is able to assist students throughout application for any questions they might have. Parents may attend if desired.

Name of Activity: College Fair Days
Description: Centered around the time of the college fair, representatives from local universities and other universities that have shown an interest in visiting our students will be invited to participate in a three-day College Visitation Days. During those days we will be on assembly schedule. Students will be informed beforehand what colleges will be represented. All students (Soph-Senior) will be required to attend two meetings per assembly. Freshmen will be having a separate assembly focused on planning their high school career in light of college preparation.

Name of Activity: FAFSA/College Night
Description: Multi-purpose event that includes: For Sophomores: a comprehensive look at PSAT score results, summer enrichment opportunities, how to use CollegeBoard.com, utilizing college resources and preparing for SAT's/ACT's during Junior year. For Juniors: resume preparation, summer enrichment opportunities, explaining the college search process, looking at scholarships, explaining the importance of visiting college campuses, and launching the college prep assignment packet. For Seniors: going through the FAFSA application process in detail, helping parents to understand the process, and finalization of the college decision. This event may not be in the same evening. It is still being constructed.

Name of Activity: Classroom presentations
Description: For Freshman, classroom presentations will focus on the importance of GPA and class selection, explaining what transcripts are and how they are used, encouragement to engage in meaningful community service, explaining how colleges use transcripts to make decisions about acceptance and scholarships, and the importance of contributing to the learning community. For Juniors, classroom presentations will involve timeline, primary factors effecting decision, and resources for the college search process; timing and preparation for SAT/ACTs, importance of resume, essays, meaningful community service and summer enrichment opportunities.

Description: Through this program, Pima County students have the capability to take courses at Pima Community College for free. The purpose of these classes is to allow students the opportunity to experience different career fields.

Name of Activity: 8th Grade Night
Description: This event will provide a venue for academic advising, explain the rigor of the high school programs, explain math progression, discuss the importance of grades and transcripts, cover the policy on honors classes and academic probation, orient the 8th grade students to the high school culture, note the importance of the PSAT, and outline the opportunities and resources our school provides for college preparation.
